Title: Wood Facts A Series Sunday

A very short fact today and sure most of you will know this one.

Bamboo although often tree like, is actually not a species of tree, it is a species of grass.

Funny you should bring it up tho....

Remember that 'experimental piece of bamboo flooring I found at the Habitat "Re-Store"?

I just trimmed it out and sanded it smooth!!!
Going to 'reduce' Steve's "Chinese Fish" pattern and cut it for a lady friend out of the bamboo...

I think you just wrap some Duct Tape around your hands sticky side out grab hold and pull  ;D
