Here is a quilt rack I made for the wife out of pine. Used walnut to make the balancing wine bottle holder. Used the bandsaw to cut the wine bottle holder since the wood is almost 2" thick.

Chief those look good. What wood did you use for the wine bottle holder? Thanks for sharing them with us.

I really like that bottle holder, a different shape then I have seen before.

DW I used walnut for the wine holder. I have a whole bunch of walnut I found on CL for pretty good deal.

Nice wine bottle holders. how do you bend wood?
How do you keep your balance?

The wood isnt bent, I just cut that shape out of a large block of walnut.
The bottom of the curve is flat and the weight of the bottle based on the curve it just balances. It will not stand with out a bottle in it.
