I made the "I love you" box for my wife and then added the clay inlay that Steve uses. Turned out really nice. Box is made from 1/4" poplar instead of a solid block like Steve had for the pattern.
The collapsible bowl is made from 3/4" maple. Maple is a pain in the rearend to cut, but it turns out beautiful when you are done.

For an ol' seadog you sure a 'romantic' feller!
Box should be a hit with any woman, especially hand made for a wife!
And I have to hide this picture of the bowl from my future Daughter In Law or I will have to make one too!
