Some of these are really interesting...Don't leave your car windows open in a snow storm if you abandon it!

Must say I am glad I live here and that the weather is ok, besides the nearly galeforce wind outside.
Thanks for the pictures.

I gotta rub it in, It was clear and WARM with no wind here in sunny S.W. Oregon. Shirt sleeve weather. That's enough.
I really feel for you guys weathering the storm. I have a daughter and her family in indiana, I've been worrying about. Stay warm and off the roads if at all possible.
No way are you getting me to live in that part of the country. Floods in the summer, blizzards in the winter.

Well folks my gloating days are over for a while. Winter has returned with a vengeance just over a foot of snow last night. No scrolling in the carport for a while. Told ya I'd be here pestering everyone. I hate shoveling snow!
Stay warm everyone.

Marcel
Pretty hard to get the BOSS to move all her quilting stuff, she really doesn't like to share.  ::) Especially if it would get saw dust all over everything. I'm just going to have to wait out the weather.
I'm getting even by staying under foot and getting in her way.  :D
To be fair we have a small house and there isn't room for another work station.

Oh yea I been there done that, back then driving truck without AC hauling cotton seed, self loaded, sweating like a horse with cotton trash down my neck, 90 deg. at midnight. Haul it to Lousiana to a cotton seed mill and back for another load. Love it! Yea right!

Gabby,
cant you make some kind of roll screen from an old tent under the carport so you are out the wind and perhaps with an electrical heater your quit "comfy"

That would be nice I've thought of putting up a tarp to block some of the weather but due to the configuration of the carport it would be impossible to heat not to mention expensive. It is built to go with the house which is an Old Log Cabin built in the 1920's. It is made of peeled logs for supports and peeled log trusses for the roof with a gravel floor, and completely open on the sides. Really just designed to park cars in. I'll just have to wait out the weather, and keep every one here cussing me for all the stuff I post. LOL
Thanks anyway,
Gabby
