GB The stacked cats are 3/4 thick and I used a #5 Ultra Reverse blade to cut them.

Warning
I have removed all pictures/links to the images posted thru Image Shack after several complaints (me included) of Malware/Virus.

Anyone who has viewed the pictures/links thru Image Shack should take precautions and check/scan there computer.

I believe the problem is Image Shack not any forum member. I am notifying Image Shack of the situation.

Sorry for any inconvenience. I believe we have had one member infected already.

Russ

Thanks for the heads up Russ, I ran a scan right after I clicked on an image from image shack the other night, I thought it was a pop up ad. My scan found nothing. Thanks again.

Very Strange ... I scan EVERYTHING.  I have images in ImageShack and have had NO issues from any other place....wierd
What AV are you using?  Could it be giving false hits?

DW,

As an MCITP these are not false hits. We have had one person infected/damaged and I have had it happen to me. My AV stopped it and warned me.

When you try to view the images/links you get AV8 virus.
What is av8 scan? The av8 virus causes computers to show fake av8 scan so non suspecting pc users may be lured to buy the virus av8 anti-virus, av8-scan malware. You can Google "AV8 virus" for more information.

I don't think this is an issue with the members that use Image Shack but rather a problem on Image Shack side.

This is a very serious issue and as always I will err on the side of caution. Sorry for any inconvenience.

No worries Russ... I have been working in the IT field since 1979 so I am not a novice... I was just letting y'all know it was not on my end... I have several other postings here that use imageshack might want to check on those... my av is not getting hit so not sure what y'all are seeing.

DW,
not sure what y'all are seeing.

Google "AV8 virus" . That is what we are seeing.

It also seems to be only the most recent posts made thru Image Shack.

I open image shack photos all the time but last week I was hit twice by the AV8 virus scam.
