Title: I would like to Apologize To the forum .
Post by: Muzzlemike on January 21, 2011, 12:04:41 am
I asked a question on " Ask Steve a question ." and a member replied ( I will leave him nameless ) and I felt that it was a snobbish answer . Well I wrote back not being very nice but I capt the language except able . I do not normally blow up like that . I just felt like he was putting me down but it was not excusable on my part  . The members comment was removed along with mine but I feel I should apologize for my actions to everyone on the forum . I am Sorry .

Mike

On a lighter note

Good news to day I found out that my old HF scroll saw that I picked up is almost the same thing that Grizzly sells . They sell it in 22" mine is 19" but a lot of the parts are interchangeable . Mine is missing the hold down foot . I just used it with out it but it would be nice to get one . I am in contact with grizzly to set me up .

Well Mike no one on this forum has ever or will ever be snobish we all are here to help and some may not type as well as other and come off as snobish It is very hard to tell what people are thinking or how they are saying it unless you hear it in person.
Steve and the Mods run a nice family style forum, so never think that someone is ever putting you down and if you ever think that way send them in forum e-mail asking them to explain why, this way you both work it out in a nice way.....

Just my 25 cents worth...

Yep...once you get your panties in a twist it is hard to get the wrinkles out.  ;D
But we are all a bunch of friendly folks and none of us would intentionally be pissy towords another member.

Mike,
I missed the topic, but I think it's great that someone apologizes, that doesn't happen not much these days.
it takes courage to recognize that you did something "wrong" and even more to get back on that in public on this forum. I like your honesty.

Folks, kindness (and if necessary forgiveness) that's what makes this forum so great.

Great reply Mike, Had my panties in a twist from time to time but never blew up on-line, life's too short.
Takes a big man/woman to apologize like that, well done.

Mike,
I didn't see the thread, but your apology is whole heartedly accepted!  Honesty and humility seem to be getting more and more rare, but not on this Forum.  I extend a cyber handshake.  Way to "man up"!!!

I think we all have our moments when we wake up on the wrong side of the bed. Glad you are still with us.  :)

Thanks everyone .

Judy no I have not yet . I was not thinking of it do to I was told it would burn up the motor but I found that Grizzly has  22" saw that has the same motor . The 2 big differences where that the size is 22 " and mine is 19" and the have a speed control . I am working with Grizzly to get some missing parts for mine . They are nice over there . I was thinking about picking one up for my router and when I get one I might try it in my saw just to see if it will work .
