The puzzle only had the pattern, so making it took about 10 minutes figuring out how to undo it and put it back took much longer, but I got there in the end.
The Ichtys I copied from one I bought at a fleamarket who somebody had made.

Those are both great. If you are willing to share the button puzzle please provide the solution as well. I'm really old and may not have enough time to solve it----LOL

nice work there. I like the puzzles.

Nice work, I like them. Thanks for posting. :)

Those tea light holders just a tad bit larger would make for some nice coasters as well. Nice job.

That's a super idea Dunk.

You inspired me to think outside the box...so to speak.

Nice job David, you have my interest in the puzzle solution as well. Do you just push the button through the hole, or is there some kind of loop trick needed.

Puzzles look good so do the fish

Japp - the button does not fit through neither of the holes ;)
The knot on the band seems to be a Larks Head (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cow_hitch) (also known as cow hitch (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cow_hitch)).
While kiting I'm using this one for the kite lines. It ties itself harder when pulled on.
I might build some of those puzzles for the Kindergarten bazaar - they look nice.

Somebody smack me in the head. I don't understand what you're supposed to solve with the button puzzle.

Very nice work David. Thanks for sharing them with us.

Hi Mark there is a loop involved, the button is just to big to fit through the hole and the string just to short to bring it down through the second hole.
Becky the object of the puzzle is to get string and button of the block without cutting or undoing knots.

Chaci Most people try to get the button to fit through the hole and then get a bit frustrated and try to do something with the loop but a few get it right after a while , others I have had give up in the 1st minute. They are fun though.
