Here is one of 4 trinket box's I have finished, the wood is Rimu and it is finished with danish oil

The wood is rimu and is about all I use as this what my customers want, it does come in a variety of colors depends on what part of the country it is grown in.
Marcel a trinket box is a jewelery box as a rule but calling it a trinket box men buy them as well, doesn't sound so sissy I suppose

It turned out beautiful, I really like the way the lid is recessed, and the tab in front to open it.
