I got some Inlace at the woodworking show last weekend, and was playing around with a bit. I made a couple of Steve's key chains and a few necklaces.
The necklaces were a big hit at school. For the week of Halloween I had a different halloween necklace everyday(pumpkin, ghost, bat, witch's hat & jack-o-lantern). I should have saved the christmas tree for next week, I am not sure if I can get creative enough to have a full 12 days of christmas. I'll try.

Very creative Princes Three Trees...I mean Mrsn! Imagine using different colors of inlace for the Christmas trees!

MrsN, how well did the Inlace stick to the wood? I tried some of the poly clay and found that once I baked it-it was loose and I needed to glue it in place. Any issues with Inlace becoming loose?

Really nice work. Does it work with heat like clay?

the inlace is an epoxy like substance. The one I got has bits of stuff in it so it looks a little like the fancy granite counters, but I think it is all plastics. There are lots of colors and things that an be mixed it to the resin. I think steve did a blog about it.
the stuff is really sticky, I haven't tried to break it, but it seems solid once it cures. I don't think it will fall out.
