"Corn Huskers" time again!
Between the cold, sawdust, mineral spirits, alcohol and various and sundry other 'drying' agents it is time to bring out the "Corn Huskers" lotion!
What do YOU use to keep the fingers from 'splitting'?

I have tried everything and have had no luck. I use a prescription lotion for my face that I use when the split gets raw, but It won't prevent it.
does the Corn Huskers work for you?
-
Been using it for YEARS....
Got on to it when I was in the print shop and had my fingers in water and alcohol all day.
Just keep applying and it will moisten enough to keep the 'cracking' down!
Also keep the fingernails trimmed!

Neutrogena Norweigan Formula Hand Cream. I got hooked on it when we lived in Alaska. Usually keeps your hands from splitting. Definately sooths them when they are raw.
-
1 - to prevent I use eucerine or a quality vitamine E lotion
2 - after the fact, trying to mend my hands after a day in the cold I'll use vaseline and put on rubber gloves before bed - works every time

I find a nice glass of Bushmills with ice does the trick, the condensation on the glass keeps my fingers from cracking (http://smileys.on-my-web.com/repository/Drinks/party-drunk.gif)

Paul!
That is a terrible waste of ICE!
Besides the Bushmill's needs nothing other than a container!

Who needs a container, LOL ::)

Better "sipping" out of a glass!

Take a sip and then swirl it all around the mouth after you have the aroma in your nose and taste on the tongue leave for 30 seconds until....Yeah right, nock it back in one and pour another.......Paul ;D
