Title: Call Sign Revisited
Post by: WigWag Workshop on November 22, 2010, 06:11:46 pm
Good Day Folks!

What a difference, some practice will do.  I have been learning a lot thanks to the kind folks here. When I first got my saw, I have never did any kind of woodworking.  I am having a lot of fun learning, and experimenting. As you can see from the 2 pictures below, the difference between my first attempt, and several projects later. I have also been experimenting with different ways of finishing my projects.  The key is, I am having a lot of fun, and I am finding this hobby very relaxing.

A great St. Louis radio talk show host used to say, "I never trust a man that doesn't have at least TWO hobbies!" I agree  with him and it looks like you qualify!

Scroll work is coming along fine and looking good!

Enjoy the hobby! that is why we have them...

Oh, by the way Jim was a HAM also!

having fun and loving what you do is the key. the more you cut, the more confindence youll build up and be more relaxed with each project.
