Title: Found a house in WA
Post by: chief on November 20, 2010, 01:10:05 am
Well we found a beautiful house in WA.  It is on the Hood Canal and on a clear day also has a beautiful mountain view.  Has a large yard for the kids to play in, the pug and the shar pei, and has a large 2 car garage.  3beds and 2.5 baths 2300sqft.  Will be getting the keys on the 27th.  Will post pics when I get the garage set up, after our stuff gets delivered of course.

Sounds like a real "find", Chief.  Glad your journey was safe.  New tour local was always exciting in my family.  We would go out and get "lost" just to see what we could see.

That's good news, we are on the hunt for a new place to live, our current house is to small, and the owners want to sell it outright, we were going to buy it, but it's just to small.  I look forward to having a permanent workshop, railroad room, and radio room.

Well we are headed back to SoCal to pickup the kids(dogs) from my brothers house.  We will spend Thanksgiving with my brother and his family and then drive back to WA Fri.  I fly back to San Diego on Sunday and the movers are delivering our goods on the 29th.  I wont be back to the house until Dec 9th.  My wife will have the house setup except for the garage.  She has agreed to help me setup all my tools though.

We had snow alright, it is weird that it snows on the sound.  It is even weirder it snows this early.  I barely made it up my street to the house because it is so steep and the street is rural so it doesnt get plowed.
It is so beautiful with the snow overlooking the canal.
