Title: Out of the swwc magazine...
Post by: dunk on November 19, 2010, 06:45:45 pm
Enjoyed creating this one.  Painted with acrylics.  Used  #7 blade so the wood could swell from the paint if need be.  Hope you enjoy it.

That really looks nice, great colors. Do you mix your paint with anything?

On this particular on e It is just straight acrylic paint.  I then sprayed it with a clear coat finish.  Some I thin down the paint and do more of a wash, that lets the grain for the wood show through.  The wood dictates how I decide to finish off a piece.
