This bow is made from Mahogany and is 2 1/2 in high x 8 in long. The bowl was sealed with tung oil and top coated with several coats of semi gloss laquer.

Wonderful Job on the bowl! One of my favorite things about the Holiday's is a bowl full of In-The-Shell Mixed Nuts. I will buy a few pounds, and usally go through a few Nut-Crackers. Thank You for sharing.

I designed that one .. it was basically a scrap section of mahogany I had from a previous project. I used a compas to make a circle on each end and then traced the radius of a 4 inch in diameter tape roll to connect them to each other. I made the rings ~5/16 thick. Being as the board was about 9/16 inch thick I had to cut it at about 29 degrees to get the ring to be correct.
