Title: Old
Post by: jimbo on November 09, 2010, 01:10:01 am
And not so old, these are a couple of saws on display at the wood-fest show I went to while on holiday the first is a treadle machine in excellent condition and the owner said he used it most of the time for his projects, he is a very accomplished scroller and his work is magnificent, the other is a pedal power machine converted from an old Delta it seems to work OK but is more of a conversation point than being practical.

I find it fascinating that he still uses the treadle machine to do most of his work. Thanks for the info and pictures.  8)

I would love to have that treadle one set up in my house as a working sculpture.
