Title: The cat that walked by himself

My thread about my cat taking up my space infront of my keyboard and the responses to that reminded me of a short story. It is by Rudyard Kipling. I will place the link, as I think it will take up quite a bit of space. Take time to read it, I still enjoy it everytime I read it and when I relate the story others they seem to enjoy it too.
