The penny is from Steve, and the eagle is from ARPOP.

Hey Scratcho, First of all welcome to the forum! those are some nice projects! What woods did you use and how did you color the penny?

Hi to all. The paint used on both was cheap spray paint, some of it I got at Dollar General. The penny is sprayed with a copper metalic with a light coat of flat back on the backer before it was assembled. Both have satin finish Deft for protection.

Hi scratcho, they look great. I really do love the eagle. It's on my to do list, but would have never thought of finishing it the way you did.

I would have never thought that cheapo spray paint would come out looking so GREAT!

Nice job on both!

I have been playing around with the metalics and the Rustoleum "Hammered" finishes lately.
