Title: Stack Cut Baltic Birch

I want to make some christmas ornaments.If the board I am using is a quarter of an inch.How many would you suggest I cut at one time, before my blade starts to wander.Thanks Dave

I usually cut  ornaments from 1/8 inch baltic birch and cut 6 at a time.  If I am cutting 1/4 things I cut 3 at a time.
I use spiral blades. size 0/2

Good advise from Judy. For me, I will cut two or three layers of 1/4" BB, and four layers of 1/8" BB. I use flat blades for these. Olsen 0/2R and Flying Dutchman UR1.

I agree. Most saws can hand 3/4" with out to much of a problem, and the blade should not wander. Make sure you have plenty of tension on the blade and take your time.  8)
