I thought this would be easy to do, but it turns out it's not. I have a scrollsaw font with the underline (base) as part of the font. I want to make a hairdresser friend a simple word art that says:
Lillie's Cut Above
but I can't figure out how to put the apostrophe in. It just keeps putting a space in. Could someone tell me the trick to making it work.
Thanks Mark

There really is no trick, you have two choices. Either leave it out like I have seen some do it, or you will have to hand draw it in. What program are you using to make it? 8)
Here is an example:

Doesn't Steve have a Youtube video on this? Wish I could help, but I don't have Office on my home PC (and this site is blocked at work - the only forum that is blocked) - If you don't find a way, I will try to figure it out tomorrow at work.

Russ what you did will work thank you, I am using Corel Draw. I just wasn't thinking, I thought I could simply type it in. I guess I am not a very good pattern maker.
Thanks again Mark

Sometimes if you reduce the space between letters (kearning) the apostrope can sit on top.

this is just a quickie.......

Thanks Judy, I like yours better than what I come up with, but I need her name spelled Lillie's Thanks. With You and Russ help I am on the right track, here is mine.
