Looks good..What wood did you use ?
-
Wish I knew. I got this wood from a supplier in New Zeland. It is real dense and heavy .. a chocolate brown polishes nicely. I normally mark the species on the wood ... must have forgotten to do that with this one for some reason.

I bet Jimbo will know what wood it is. He should be checking in soon.

I love doing the free standing puzzles. I usually find patterns then tweak them to suit myself.
You can go to my site to see the ones I have done for a November craft show. I am now trying to figure out how to price them. I cut mine from birch, then use different color Min-wax.

Nice horseee lol.
Hmmm now let me sea..Heavy, dense plus the color, hmmm I reckon it's Rimu.
