Hey Julie, It's no different than setting your purse on the kitchen table! I'm always ragging on my wife about that!

Myth Busters did a show on bacteria on different surfaces and found most bathrooms are cleaner than any other floors. One reason is because most public access bathrooms are cleaned several times a day. Who would have thought.   8)

They also did a bit that showed the bottom of most purses had tons of Bactria on them!

Thankfully, I don't own a purse.  I am a jeans and tennies kind of gal.  If it dont fit in my pocket - I don't need it.  Money and credit cards - left rear pocket.  Pocket knife and chapstick - left front pocket.  Cigarettes and lighter - right rear pocket.  Cell phone is on my belt.  I am ready to go to town.  I don't carry makeup.  IF I have any on and it falls off - too bad - I don't have to look at me - you do.  It's great to be comfortable in your own skin.

Since I no longer carry a concealed handgun, pliers, notebook, flashlight and handcuffs, I don't need a purse either, Now I get by with a holster bag strapped on. It has room for money clip, credit cards, phone and a small knife.  Now aren't you guys sorry somebody brought the subject up?  weel, we "listened" to your viagra/cialis discussions. :D

My wife has a Louis Vuitton purse, and no I didn't buy it for her. She bought it for herself because she makes the big bucks in this house, six figures. And no she won't buy me a sand flee, but I did get a boat though.  ;)

Regardless of how much you make, It makes no sense to me to buy a $500.00 purse.  I have friends that do that.  It just makes my head explode.  Different strokes I guess.  I choose not to use a holster bag either, Judy.  (Yes, I have a conceal and carry).  Loose shirt and holster works just fine.

I can see a conference with all the members of this group...

Main question..."Are you Packing?"
Answer..."Yeah! Aren't you?"

I've carried most of my life. Before my uncle and I shut down the restaurant he was held up three times and I was twice. Sure makes those saying "give me your money!" open their eyes wide when your hand comes out with a Colt Python instead of your wallet!

Boy are we off TOPIC again! Here comes Russ!!!!

I worked in a really bad part of Dallas for a while, before conceal and carry became law.  I made no bones about it and carried it openly.  I only carry now when I am going into a bad part of Austin or traveling.

I once belonged to a United Methodist Church that had an annual "Gargage Sale" that brought in over $4,000 a year.
The day of the big sale I was charged with picking up the proceeds during the day and placing them in the church safe.
After the sale the pastor, the church treasurer and I all went to the office to count and prepare the money to be deposited (by me) in the night drop at the bank.
After the grueling 12 hour day we retired to the office and cracked open a cold drink and lo and behold as we sat down at the table we all three laid our 'enforcers' on the table and looked at each other and started laughing because none of us realized the others were also 'packing'!

That's the beauty of conceal and carry.  No one is supposed to know you are packing.
