Hey guys, I'm looking for anything on Vincent Price.He was my favorite actor.And being I never did a portrait before. I thought I would start with someone I really liked and admired.Dave

Its a very sad story, every morning she would come up to me with her big wide eyes and as gentle as can be rub her nose against my cheek and give a gentle moooooooo, I would not mind but I live on the 92nd floor  ;D ;D ;D ;D

Hey Reaper, Yes, you cut out the black. If your using 1/8" Baltic birch, you will want to stack 2, 3 or 4 layers of BB as you will have better control of your work piece. For this pattern you probably can use flat blades but would be a good opportunity to try some spiral blades. Flying Dutchman NS spirals are the best for portraits.

You want to cut out the black spaces.  Start with the smaller ones though.  Save that big one where his hair is for last.  It keeps the piece more stable.
