Title: My Signature
Post by: WigWag Workshop on October 01, 2010, 07:04:10 pm
Good Evening Folks!

Just wanted to ask if my signature of the rolling train bothers you?  Should I remove it and add a static one?

I think it is great...would prefer an older "Big Boy" steam locomotive with smoke trailing and a whistle tooting but yours is fine.
Our local Museum of Transport is I think the largest collection of locomotives in the US or maybe even in the world and I recently visited and admired that monster of an engine. Must have really been impressive hauling down the road!

There's a Big Boy Engine on display in Cheyenne WYO. I agree, what a monster.

I stood next to the 'drivers' of that monster and they are about 6' in diameter. Can't imagine the FORCE those things generated pulling those long loads of coal hoppers.

Thanks all for the positive feedback.  I didn't want to upset anybody, I will look for a steam engine one to mix it up a bit  ;D

Steven-
Keep the train rolling! Is that a Chicago Northwestern train? Looks like that logo to me. Where I was raised in South Milwaukee we had a Chicago Northwestern track running right through our backyard. Many memories of playing on the track and watching the trains, waving at the engineers. Where in Wisconsin are you? I live in the Lacrosse area now.

That is correct, it is a Chicago and Northwestern train.  I was also born and raised in South Milwaukee, about 2 blocks from the C&NW Kenosha Sub - I lived on 7th and Sherman Ave.  I am currently living in Central Ohio, moved here about 7 years ago.
