I tried scrolling an ornament tonight and I've come to conclusion that I don't like cutting thin wood.  I guess I need to either not do it or learn to stack cut.

The only hassle I find with 'stack cutting' is getting the stack together first.
After that it is just like cutting thicker wood.

Try it...you'll like it!

Can't do stacks though with name ornaments.  I might have to try a different kind :)

Hey Janet, I find that 1/4" is the thinest I am comfortable cutting. If I need thinner I stack cut. If I need 1/8" and only need one, I use a cheep plywood as a backer to stack cut. Try it, you'll like it!

The wood I used is 8mm thick, I think the thin wood is to light

Jimbo,  the lighter wood stands out better on a dark christmas tree.
