I love what Grey Beard said in his post to ?newbies? and (with shaking hands) want to put myself out there. I?ve been scrolling for almost 3 years but have not received much feedback from people except for those who know me. If it?s not too much trouble, could some of you folks have a look at my work on www.8by10woodworking.com and send me an email to bill_purcell3@q.com with critiques. Please don?t be nice.
Please note the "heart clock" was my first project, so skip that one. :)
Thank you!

Bill...From me to you....
Absolutely beautiful Cuttings and superior finishing!
With this kind of work to your credit YOU should be doing critiques not us!
Superb!!!
Maybe when I grow up I will be able to emulate your work!

You're kidding, right? I mean, if you're serious, I'm very happy, but...
There are no other scrollers in the area at all, so I've never been able to show my stuff to anyone and I figured I was not quite average.

Bill, Totally enjoyed looking around your web site. You have nothing to worry about. Your projects are beautiful.
-
Hey Bill, You can stop calling yourself a beginner, You are now in the expert level! That Is some beautiful Work!
-
Beautiful work... INCLUDING the heart clock! I'd email you but there's nothing I'd want to say in an email that I wouldn't say here. I love your work!
-
Bill, I agree. You've lost your beginner status! You've attempted and accomplished more than many people have I'm sure. Don't be too hard on yourself. Sometimes we are our own worst critic.
Remember there's only one person whoever walked this earth that was perfect. :)
It's great to see what you've produced in a limited area.
Keep it up!

Great variety and love your shop. You are very talented, thanks for sharing.
Where are you located? I'd guess Oregon since the mention of myrtle-wood.

Bill, you are doing great work. The one that jumped out was the USMC emblem that was layered. Now that was outstanding--From an old marine--Semper Fi .Richard aka thumbs

I lived in Klamath Falls for 4 years. I was stationed at Kingsley Field in the Air Force and went to Medford several times. But, of course that was in 1963-1967 so things may have changed there since then! :D :D :D :D :D :D

You my friend are not. Your work is great! Very nice.
-
kalipbean - I have to ask. How did you come up with that nickname?
-
Hey Bill, You should not question your work any more! Like all have said your work looks great and from some one new I hope to get to your level some day.
-
I like the site Bill. Did you design it yourself? It is quite nice in it's simplicity. I know what you're thinking regarding critiques. I am very critical of my work too. But you know what? When I peel off the pattern at the end, the little mistakes don't even show up and I have to remember that I was looking at it through magnifaction while I
was cutting it. Carry on bud. You're doin just fine.

Sorry, I didn't notice your question for days. I used a GoDaddy template.
