On Monday afternoon the sun was shining in my humble garage/shop and suddensly the light became even brighter as yyyyguy strolled in for a visit!
All the way from the Wisconsin wilds Pete came to visit me. Well actually he was visiting his daughter and she only lives a short distance from my place so we communicated and he took time from his family to come for a visit.
We sat on my stools, talked shop and life in general, hoisted a brew and had a good ol' time.
We see photos of members but there is nothing like a face to face meeting to cement the bond between fellow hobbyists!
I hope you all have the experience at some time.

Hey GB, Sounds like a fun time! But I'm a bit disappointed you didn't post any pictures! I don't think anybody knows what Wiseguy looks like! :(
-
What a nice surprise, did you think to get any pics?

That is really fantastic when something like that happens. Maybe it will catch on. Would love to meet some of the other enthusiasts in real life. I have not had the opportunity yet to attend one of the scroll saw conventions, but maybe when I do, I can meet a bunch. Dan

I had planned to take a pic and we spent so much time conversing and having a good visit it totally slipped my ancient mind until he was already gone. Sorry.
He was leaving the next morning for Florida and i told him to contact Russ and see if they could hook up. Don't know if he was able to make the connection...
