Here is a squirrel I made for my wife. Named after a frequent visitor to our backyard. Certainly not of the same caliber as Intrasia 92's projects, but i present it just as well. Woods used are Walnut, Mahogany, Pine and Ebony. Pattern by Cathy Wise.

Great piece, Dan! Is it just me or does he actually have a mischevious look on his face? You'd better grease the bird feeder!
-
Becky, Would you believe my wife actually feeds the squirrels? She puts out a block of food made for squirrels and also peanuts in a box with a hinged top that they can open, but the birds can't! :o

I would never have the patience to try something like that. I used to have a raccoon that would come and sit in my lap and eat. She must have passed and I miss her every day.

Hey Marion, after seeing the portrait that you did, you certainly would have the patience to do one!

Let me get a few more things under my belt and then I may ask for something simple to do to see if I could do it. I love the look of Intarsia and would "really" be proud of myself if I could do it.

That is a nice tidy job, thanks for the look.
