Well for my subsequent posts I wanted to show a couple of things I've made and making.
This is a light I made for my daughter who loves horses. It is re-purposed from an old childrens night light I bought from a garage sale.
Horse Pattern by Marilyn Carmin, Creative Woodworks & Crafts, Aug 2008, p. 32
Wood: Birch 1/4" Ply
Finish: Minwax stain
Dimensions: Horse reduced to 4 1/2 tall.
Panels are 5 3/8" x 6 1/8".
Light is 6 3/8" x 6 3/8" x 8" tall.

That turned out super. It's a great idea, saw one of those at a second hand shop a while back but had no idea what to do with it, but next time I think I will buy it and copy your idea.

Thank you all for the compliments.
I have one more of the lights and will probably make another. I added the dimensions in the post for those interested. I didn't make this recently, but last year. Every time I make one of something with a horse motif, my daughter wants it!
