A while ago I posted pictures of my Wine Still Life Intarsia project. I was asked how the grapes where shaped and sanded. To make it easy to shape and sand, I made a tool to hold the small pieces. I turned a handle with an 1/8" compression fitting and nut attached to the front end. Attached to the compression nut is a #4x1/2" wood screw. Drill a 3/32" hole into the back of the work piece and screw the tool into the work piece. Now you have a handle to hold the small work piece so you can shape and sand without sanding your finger tips.
If you don't want to turn a handle, the compression nut will thread onto a 5/16" fine thread bolt.
