Title: Stand up Animal Jig Saw Puzzles
Post by: Danny on September 09, 2010, 12:18:49 pm
Hey everyone....Somewheres in our forum I have seen patterns of dogs that are cut out of 3/4 wood and they actually look like they stand up without props.  Can anyone direct me?  Thanks....  Danny  :+}

And I thank You so very much.  Viewed all and think its what I want to venture into at this stage of my Scrollsaw crafts.  Something different.  Yes?

Here's a link to Steve's dog patterns.  http://www.stevedgood.com/dogpuzzles01.pdf

His catalog has some other puzzle critters too if you're interested.  There's a link to the catalog on left side of the main page of the blog.

Hi Danny I started out making wooden puzzles that stand up. There are patterns in scrollsaw magazines sometimes. It is also easy to make a simple animal outline into a puzzle by adding the cutting keys yourself.   Just make sure the bottom is level enough for it to stand up when cut out.
