Here is what I have been working hard on. I finally finished the complete sled set by our own designer Shelia. Thanks Shelia. The rest of the ornaments are from various books and magazines.

great job, i like the sleds the best, very cool indeed.

Those are all great Cherie. I have the sled patterns and plan on doing a bunch of them for neighbor Christmas gifts.

Are the sleds stained or is that the natural wood color. What wood did you use. They look great. Thanks for letting me know what the green machine was.

Dan, the sleds are made from Paduck for the main part of the sled and the runners are of soft maple, well except for two of the sleds since I ran out of maple and tried something that looks terrible. I had some 1/8 baltic birch ply and painted them white with clear glitter. So everything is natural wood and I now have a place in Springfield Missouri where I can buy hardwoods.
As for the green machines, well everything we have bought has come from Grizzly tools, with the exception of my saw which is a Shop Smith.

Sure does. Most things I have cut has been with BB. I have a couple of pieces of Alder but have not used them yet. I am a beginner less than 1 year, but enjoy cutting very much. I also enjoy seeing other peoples work.
