Title: Horses Through The Mountains
Post by: jvortisch on May 12, 2019, 02:16:47 pm
This piece is almost five feet long and 16" at the widest point. I had to use spiral blades due to the size of the piece. It is currently mounted above my kitchen table. I cut it from 1/2" pine.

Very nice, indeed.

I bought this pattern early in my scrolling adventures and am still challenged by the 5 foot length.  Any tips or recommendations?

Not sure, Norm.  I dug out my pattern hoping to see a name I would recognize from where I bought it.  At the top is Heartland Creations and Wild Horses below the picture of the completed project.  Elsewhere on their pattern is address and phone number:  P.O. Box 191 Yacolt, WA 98675 (360) 686 3133.

However, after online research, nothing turned up, only someone else on another forum searching for the same company:  https://forum.scrollsawer.com/forum/scroll-saw/general-scroll-saw/1115-searching-for-heartland-creations
It doesn't look too promising, sorry.

I was thinking since I bought this pattern about 16-17 years ago, it was in my early years of scrolling and at that time I was purchasing a lot of patterns from Wildwood Design, Scroller and Wooden Teddy Bear.  Perhaps searching any of the pattern catalogues might turn up something for you...?

Best wishes.
