Greetings all,
I’m a born and raised California gal who had the pure please of working alongside my dad as a child, who was a wood worker. About 5 years ago I set up my own little “wo-man” cave, enjoying every project and moment. Then that word “busy” got into the way of my joy but no more. I’ve been following Steve for a couple of months now and my priorities and joys are back on track (thanks, Steve). I’m new to scroll sawing and very inspired with Intarsia so off I go! I thank everyone in advanced for their input and wisdom. Let the fun begin!

Welcome to Steve's blog. There are many knowledgeable and helpful folks here. You were certainly fortunate to have a Dad who shared wood working with you. I had an Uncle who was an excellent wood worker who started my love for wood working. I am a relatively new scroller and follower of Steve's blog with a little over a years experience.

Hello to California, this Norm from Nipawin, Sasktachewan, Canada. Scroll sawing has become a passion with me. The patterns from this site are exceptional. What I am saying is being addicted to wood work as a hobby is a good thing so keep cutting. Where I live this time of year is real cold and snow so sitting in front of my saw in a heated workshop is healthier activity then watching TV.

Welcome Angie, glad to see you have an interest in Intarsia. I've been making Intarsias since 1992 and still enjoy making everyone of them. I've tried every hobby you can think of and it's the only one that held my interest. You'll not be sorry. By the way I live in Whittier CA. Again Welcome.
