Title: Nose
Post by: Shufflex on November 04, 2017, 09:46:11 am
Well here it finally is,

This is the first thing I have ever made from the scroll saw.

Whilst being far from perfect I am actually rather pleased with me effort.

I actually enjoyed doing this and at the same time learned a huge amount, mainly with the help from these forums.

Let me know what you think.

it looks great!
as for me i am horrible at straight  line cuts. i always cut in the waist side of the line and sand to the line.
for me i have had great luck with portraits with spiral blades because it is more forgiving for me. i will get back to straight lines when my skills improve.
getting a drill press has helped with that as well.

hang in there.... know that slow is best and that there are a wide range of projects on the road to learning.... just find your lane..

this was my first attempt and the pattern.
