Just became a new member and uploaded a couple of projects to my gallery that I have recently done.
Ain't learning unless you make mistakes!!!

Cool stuff. I like the way you framed the mountain lion. I assume it's mounted to the board. I also like the frame with sea gulls. Nice work.

How do I get to your gallery Danny? I clicked the profile icon but ....
Too new to this forum I guess
-
Thanks Dan! Yeah, I mounted the mountain lion by inserting a short dowel rod in the back of the lion and attaching the other side of the dowel rod to the plaque I made, so that way it is almost 3D and will cast a shadow when light hits it.

I cant get to your gallery.

Another great piece Danny. Well done!!
Dave.
P.S. Danny, if you go to your gallery and find the picture you wish to show in your post, then look for the part that says 'Image Linking Codes' You can copy that direct link into your post when you are writing about your project. just click on 'Insert Image' just below the B button. Then paste your picture link into the space that pops up.
Press the Preview button before you post to see if it came out alright.
Hope this helps.

Very nicely done DannyB. That is a very interesting way of framing a project. I really like that. Thanks for sharing this with us.

Thanks for that tip on getting into the gallery. I was thinking there was a way to see an individuals gallery, other than the individual posting a direct link to his own.

Thanks DW and thanks Dave for reposting the picture and letting me know how to post the image! I am working on another project and will post it as soon as I get it done.

Danny, what kind of wood is the mountain lion cut from?
-
If I can remember right, I planed down a piece of cherry.
