Title: Hello from Trinidad and Tobago west indies

Hi I am Tom , new to scrolling have been reading on the net , very recently bought a dewalt and have been trying out some of Steve's free pattern and   still trying to understand which blade to use with different size wood , very anxious to try puzzles dont know which is the best blade as I would like to make christmas gifts for my nieces.

Hi Tom and welcome to the forum.  I'm Julie from Texas.  Glad to have you.  Although blade preference in different for everybody, many of us use a #1, 3, and 5 reverse tooth blade for the majority of our projects.  Those are the blades I go to for 90% of my cutting.
