I want to try and make a whirligig. The one I really like is of horses running.
I clicked on the link to buy it. but to tell the truth I was a tad afraid of the web site.
When I first clicked on it. was not any whirlygig's. when I did find it. I was afraid to buy.
does anyone know a place to buy a pattern like that. that you trust?
I did see a mule one that I like. I have never made a whirligig.. are they eazy? or hard??
Thank you

Lorace,
Lime most of what we do there are various levels of complexity. Some are real simple others are more complex

I have found you some a couple of links that might be of interest... one to plans the other to a book on making whirligigs and has a couple of interesting patterns in it.

Thank you, the first link you sent is the one I would like to make. I have never heard of that company, are they safe to order from? I would like to try it. also I think I will order the book. Thank you so much.

I do not have the book recommended but I do have a few other books by the same author Anders S. Lunde and he does explain the process very clearly. You could make a whirligig just from his books with out any plans.
