Title: Central NY Scroller
Post by: DobiePaws on July 16, 2010, 09:24:20 am
Hello Everyone,

My name is Deanna, I live near Syracuse NY, and have been hobby scrolling for about 15 years. My other hobbies include purebred dogs, atv riding & snowmobiling. I have really enjoyed combining those hobbies with the dog word puzzles that have been intoduced lately, and have designed some custom snowmobile & atv puzzles for our local clubs. I would say the puzzles are my main interest right now and am searching for the source of the widely made puzzimals patterns - I'm guessing the patterns are not for sale   >:(   I really want to make some of the other dog breeds, wildlife, etc. I do however do a variety of other crafts including fretwork, holiday decorations and doggie mailboxes on my saw. I'd love to learn Intarsia!

I'm so glad I found this site, it's been so educational - thanks for the videos Steve! ....it has reunited my interest in getting behind the saw   :D

Welcome Deanna,
Here's a picture of my buddy "Hagrid".  He goes into work with me most days.
He is 5 years old and 125lbs of run and play!

Hello to Everyone,

Nice to meet all of you, Thanks for the Wooden Teddy Bear link those were the ones I was looking for and very resonably priced I thought. Thanks for the other puzzle link also.

You may see a sampling of my work at www.finescrollsawart.shutterfly.com it's divided into work I did from paterns and work I drew the pattern myself. Hope you enjoy & Happy Scrolling.

Welcome Deanna. I am in Australia. I breed Tenterfield Terriers. In the USA I think they are called Rat Terriers.
