Don't think TOYMAKER plans are that easy to understand. If it weren't for all the
their Colorful Pictures I might not of finished it. Someone made a statement to
watch real careful the SIZE of each piece as compared to their PATTERN. Yepper!
Lots of differences. Anyway it is finished and I REALLY, REALLY LIKE IT.
Watcha think? Danny :+}

Very nice, Danny. Is that from a set of Toys and Joys plans? Making toys is great fun and much more complex than some would think.

Nice work, Danny,
Thanks for sharing and God Bless! Spirithorse

Some kid will love that - or is it for yourself? :)

And as ALWAYS it brings joy to the heart with reading so many Wonderful feelings. Thank You All....
The easy part was the TRAILER. The 2 lil doors in the back were a challenge, but all works Great.
Now the Tractor was MANY little pieces, but I an Happy with the looks. Think if I would of had various
species of woods I could have made it really look good, but good ole BB and PINE this round.
Time spent was not really counted, but the MAJORITY of the time was trying to follow the instructions.
I would guess it took around 8 hours....OFF AND ON....
Would be a PIECE OF CAKE to make another one. Any hoo Thks for all your comments.... Danny :+}

I agree Danny...sometimes the patterns for the smaller toys are not correct. I am doing a very large train right now and not even using the printed pattern...just the measurements.

Looks great! Now a finishing touch if your wanting to try another challenge is a small 3D cut hood ornament. Maybe too small, but it would be cool. Great job.

Very nicely done Dan, and looking great, I also find there plans are hard to follow sometimes. edward
