Title: Tubes for Storing Blades
Post by: pddesertrat on October 09, 2014, 08:34:32 pm
I purchased some tubes to store my blades in.  Just wanted to let anyone looking for them know, I got mine off ebay, 25 tubes with caps for $7.74 with free shipping.  I got real fast service, and am very happy with the tubes.  This ebay store also has some nice holders for tubes.  Just thought I would pass this on in cast anyone is in the market.

I use what is called baby soda bottles... These are what are used to make 2 liter soda bottles from.  They work great.

Nice find.  I have a few test tubes but not enough so I may be ordering some more.  Thanks for the lead.

Nice Paul, i bought a 2 yard long plastic pipe for electric wiring, 3/4 inch in diameter. I cut the pipe in 4 1/2 inch long pieces and use them as blade storage. I drilled holes in a piece of scrapwood and put the plastic tubes in. Thats my storage  :)

I have used the tube storage for many years.  Here is how I keep them handy. The second is the forth one for my workbench with better tubes.
