Hi Paul, I have that one already and it came out pretty good. I'm looking for the one that's in the picture. Different colors of wood.

Hi Merlin

Is that the correct issue as I have looked from one end to the other and can't find.

Thanks

I searched that site and they have a Holiday Issue 2010 #53. It has wood carving of Santa' s on the cover but it doesn't say if it has the plans for that basket in it.

I kept on checking on the link and it was a special issue.

The basket pattern is in the SSWC Holiday Vol 2 issue. There is a picture in the link.

Don

PS:  I know I have the book somewhere.

Hi Don. I checked that site out and the book that they show for Vol #2 is "Holiday Ornaments Toys & Gifts Volume 2". Do you know if that's the right one. They want $9.95 for the back issue.

If that Basket Pattern is in SSWC magazine then it is copyrighted to that magazine for use of those who have a subscription or purchase the magazine and is not suppose to be copied and shared. It was authorized for use by the magazine from the artist that created the pattern.

You can do what you want outside this forum but do not post or advertise about copying it and sharing here on this forum or there will be consequences.

Thanks Russ, I didn't know that. I'm new to this forum. I also have a subscription to that magazine but I don't go that far back. Thanks for the info.

There is a cute collapsible  basket on Steve's site.

Wouldn't take much to use 3 woods and modify the top.

I like the top the way it is and think I'll give it a try.

Hi don, I made that one a few weeks ago. It came out pretty good. I made it out of oak.  Wasn't to hard to do. Good luck making it. Ralph.

Hi Wildhorse. I was able to get the pattern and I'm almost done with it. I just finished oiling it with Danish oil so I'm letting that dry now and then I'll put it together. I'll try and put a pic on when I'm done. Thanks again Ralph.
