This is one of Steve's Patterns with a few alterations. When a friend stack cut a few, I got the idea for the 3 blind mice. Now the question is for the younger members of the forum. Most young people I've shown this to don't know the nursery rhyme. Google it :) and enjoy my variation. PS I want to put them a piece of cheese but lack the imagination. Any ideas ??

I have a quick idea.
Use some pine (maybe southern yellow pine) or any wood with a yellow-ish tint about 3/4" or thicker. Cut out a triangle with one curved side.
Drill random holes of various sizes all over the top and sides an 1/8" deep or so. Then glue the mice on the top of the cheese.

PS. Another cute idea is "hickory, dickory, Doc the mouse ran up the clock". I found a pattern of that one a long time ago but, I'm not sure where I found it. It may be one of Steve's patterns from a long time ago, check out his patterns.

Great job on that. AS for the cheese get a piece of a yellow pine 2 x 12 cut it into a wedge shape. Bore several different sized holes into it to make it look somewhat like a big piece of swiss cheese, use the scroll saw to cut chewed areas where you will put the mice near. Thanks for sharing this with us.
