do you know where I can buy lettering templates.......1-1/2"-3"

If you want to make your own, there are plenty of printable stencil or template sites such as

I have bought stencils at Walmart, I am sure you can find some at the home improvement places like Home Depot or Lowes and you can also check
Hobby Lobby or the auction sites like Etsy and eBay.

Seyco carries several templates.  They are a bit pricey but very high quality.
