Title: The man in black
Post by: wombatie on May 07, 2014, 02:07:36 am
This Johnny Cash pattern was so easy just 14 cuts finished in about an hour that includes putting the pattern on the ply and sanding. Easy.  Pattern is by J Lawson.

Great cutting Marg--I saw him in concert and meet him back stage many moons ago. He was a very nice man--Richard

I like those portraits with a minimum of cuts and maximum of personality.

Hey Marge! You really 'walked the line!'.....that cut for the ear is a bit touch & go....

I have been considering having two of ol' John's hymns played at my final service...

Thanks guys for all the great comments.  GB I don't think about things being a bit touch and go when I'm cutting, if I did I would probably think twice.   ;)

Marg, thats the best looking Elvis I've seen for a long time. :o :o :o

Seriously though, very nice work, I much prefer the simpler type of portraits with the fewer cuts, they always seem to look better.

I just love portraits Keith.  I fell in love with them when I did my first one in 2000 it was a John Wayne, been hooked on them ever since. ;)
