Title: Newbi Near Chattanooga

Hello

I'm new to scrolling. A friend gave an old Craftman saw that you can no longer get parts for. This led to a new Delta 40-694.
Right now I'm just trying to learn how to cut on the saw. I have been woodworking for many years, but scrolling is a new concept for me.

Wellcome Bill, i am also a newcomber with the scrollsaw but i have learnt soo much by reading so many post's in this forum. I can tell you there is a lot of knowlegde here.  ::)

Welcome Bill.  I am AL also from TN.  Hillsboro which is only a few miles north of you.    There is a large amount of talent here so if you have any questions about scrolling or problems with your saw, just ask, someone will be able to help you out
