Title: Trying to cheer up my friends
Post by: king310 on February 06, 2014, 06:24:44 am
Roy I know how much you enjoy the weather you have in that home you call Scotland. You tell us all about the horizontal rains and the high winds that drive it against your home. I know that it must be a chore to go out and cut the peat or to gather the dung to heat your shop.
We have over a foot (or a meter) of snow in the last few days (with more coming) and temps at -6 F degrees (or -21.1C) with wind chills to -20F (or -28.8C) to you.

I thought this would cheer you up along with Marg and Judy.
We are colder than you. For Marg it is for her to feel cooler, and Judy to feel warmer.  Unlike my family this report is relative to all of you.
To Keefie and Clyde your forecast is from the McKenzie brothers EH! How does that song go ??. ;D ;D ::)

Going to see the Olympics in Sochi would like going to Mexico.....Don't drink the water ::) ::)

I hear the Olympic hotels are telling visitors that IF the water comes back on, DO NOT put it on your face. Sounds like more fun than a barrel of seasick monkeys on a Carnival Cruise!

Well you tried ;D  It is around 0 degrees right now but feels like - 20 degrees.  Anything above zero with no wind seems like bikini weather  ;D
