Been cold here too in Oklahoma today was in the teens with wind chill in the minus temps. Have you tried out the tank top propane heaters they work good, also as well there are 110 window units that heat as well as cool. Stay warm maybe one of these days weather will let us go out and work.

I have a Big Buddy heater. I couldn't use any electric units for heat, cost too much. Hoping for spring soon

I have a tank top propane heater has two burners on a 30gallon tank puts out good heat, I have sitting about 7-8 feet away one side then dual work lights on other side keeps me warn, but when it gets real cold it has hard time keeping up.

Yeah, for me the "buddy" works great, but in 0 degree temps, it is a waste of propane. So I just sit inside and watch woodworking videos to get me ready to be in the shop when it warms up a little.
-
Yes it is a waste of gas why I sit inside too, if my heater can't keep up and keep me comfy than I sit in side, dream of tools I want or like now learning the pattern makeing side of scrolling.

Well, guess I'm lucky living in SE Texas. Weather gets cold but no real snow. The wife wants to go some where to spend a few days in the snow. She has never been in a real snow area. Hope summer is coming soon, I'm ready.

Bring your wife on up to Kansas mickey, we have 12" of snow for her to enjoy and it is 17 degrees at 10:30 AM for her to keep cool while playing in it. Unfortunately, we don't have too many hills for skiing however.

I am fortunate enough to have a wood stove in the workshop. It has been really cold here too but the stove does it's thing and the world is good for me. ;D

My wife brings me hot water bottles, and rubs my shoulders and hands when I get cold :). Cheers, Barry.
