Cornwall and the whole of the south west area has now lost it's rail link for quite some time - watch the video here!!!!

just seen it on the news, terrible, its time this government were gone so the money can be spent on infastructure and not Gin and tonics

I wish we still had usable rail. It's all but gone in the midwest US.

They took up our rail lines in 1983. It was all sold to developing countries. I remember the trains very well as I grew up along the main line. Fondest memory was when we placed pennies, a one cent coin, on the rail. After the train went through we would find the flattened coins and then use them in the pinball machines at the local snack bar. It worked great until the owner took us aside and said he would really like to find the kids who were using flattened coins in the machines. I sorta think he knew. I grew a lot that day! ;D
