Hi Folks, well the title says it all. My shop caught fire on Thursday afternoon and it and the fire company destroyed everything in it. I know that the insurance that I have will never rebuild and replace all of the machinery, tools and wood supply. Luckily no one was hurt physically anyway, emotionally is another story. I thought that I would let you all know. Steve

I am so sorry to read this, Steve. You are so lucky no one was hurt though. I know that seems like little consolation right now but you are very fortunate. I hope that you can rebuild soon. Thank goodness your family and you are safe! (((HUGS)))

So sorry to hear this, but, praise the Lord for no injuries. I have never had a fire, but have had everything stolen before and I can relate to that empty feeling. Hope you can rebuild soon and keep us posted on the progress of your new shop.

Best of luck with this situation, I hope you are able to get back to work in your shop soon, and with at least a decent assist from the insurance company.

That's a kick in the butt. Hate to hear about anyone's loss to fire. Hope you can find a way to get back to cuttin' as quick as you can. Pray it will not take long to restart a new shop.

Steve hope you are up and running soon. Glad no one was hurt. Will be praying for you.

I may have forgot to say that the fire did not get my scroll saws as they are in a room in my home. Luckily I do that part in the house but it got all of my wood and my ways of dimensioning wood. Also had a file cabinet with patterns in the shop that was lost.

that's really bad luck. even though the insurance will not cover all I hope you will get strength to start building a shop in some kind of way.......
hang in there
