Title: Hallo from West Virginia!!!

Hey all!!  Pleased to be on here.  Been using Steve's patterns for a few years now and honestly never paid attention to whether or not he had a forum.  :-/  But I am here now, and decided to join.  Some of you I recognize from another forum or on Facebook groups.  Sooooo, you get to put up with me on here now too.  :-D

I'm letting the dust fly with my DW788, type 2...which is having it's share of problems at the current time.  I do mostly requested items and also fall craft shows in the area.  Scrolling is a great, fun hobby for me.  I enjoy doing custom portraits and toys for young kids.  Making money off of something I really really have a passion for seems almost criminal.  Soooooo, all proceeds go to benefit my wife and I's European vacation someday.  :+).  I'm 41 now, so that may be when we are 70, but hey, we'll get there.  Have to sell lots of little $3 pocket cars and $10 baskets to see Germany/Austria/UK.  Ja Ja, Ich spreche ein bisschen deutsche.  Ich lerne sechs Monate.  Sprechen Sie Deutsch?  Hilfe!!!!  :-)

Welcome from the snowy Midwest. Isn't West Virginia home of Woodcraft? Lots of fun to make toys. I also sell some trucks and donate some.

Indeed you are correct, Woodchuck.  Woodcraft moved out here in the late 80s, early 90s to Parkersburg.  That is basically on the Ohio border and about a 2 hour ride for me.  Now if they'd only give WV residents a homestate discount.   ;D
